A Macaroni Lover and A Tired Athlete
November 12, 2019
Dear Creampuff,
My goldfish told me that I eat too much macaroni. What do I do?
-Macaroni Lover
Dear Macaroni Lover,
If your goldfish told you that you eat too much macaroni, then you might be. Even though macaroni is not necessarily bad, it contains gluten and high carbs which can be unhealthy in high amounts. Ultimately, it is still up to you whether you want to keep eating more macaroni or not, but you should always reflect on what your goldfish has to say!
Macaroni definitely tastes good though!

Dear Creampuff,
What do you do if your best friend is in love with you, but you don’t feel the same way?
-Troubled Student
Dear Troubled Student,
First of all, you should recognize that it takes courage to express how you feel to someone. Don’t be rude to your best friend, but you should be sincere and directly tell them how you feel. You should try to give them some time and space, but don’t avoid them entirely.
Good luck!
-Creampuff
Dear Creampuff,
Is it bad if I want to injure myself on purpose so I won’t have to do sports?
-Tired Athlete
Dear Tired Athlete,
Please don’t injure yourself on purpose! Self-harm is never a good thing. If you need someone to talk to, the MacDuffie school has resources for that. The counselor’s office can be found in the Art Wing and the nurse’s office is in the room next to the student center. If you are desperate for free-time or are stressed out, you should consider leaving the sports team. However, you might still be afraid to let your teammates down. If that is the case, you should talk to your coach about your concerns and whether it is possible to take a break.
Don’t be too hard on yourself!
