Derrick Cruz, Senior Staff Writer
Derrick Cruz is currently a Senior at The MacDuffie School. This is his first year writing for The Magnet as a Senior Staff Writer. He hoped this would be a decision that would allow him to be a little more active in the MacDuffie Journalism scene. Outside of the class, Derrick enjoys reading novels and occasionally short stories. His favorite genre is mystery or horror novels. To complement that, he also writes on his own time. He aspires to be studying Marine Biology at a University in California or in some other very warm place.
