Marie Hua is a sophomore and senior staff writer for the Magnet. This is her third year at MacDuffie, and her second year working with the Magnet. At school, she enjoys learning about nerdy things like participles, the ablative case, A=1/2ap, Albrecht Durer, and deoxyribonucleic acid. When she isn't at school, she can be found running cross-country with her team, or generally at home stressing over homework. If/when she finishes her homework, she can often be found with a blanket and a good book or practicing her current piece on her various instruments. This year she looks forward to writing more with the Magnet, and as always, summer vacation.
